Thank goodness the Science Diet k/d is a big hit with kitty. When husband brought the bag in, she went right over and investigated it. I opened it and poured some out and she ate it and purred the whole time. Tonight we'll see how she likes the wet k/d instead of Fancy Feast.

When did this happen?

Seems like it just happened when the vet told me her kidneys were beginning to fail due to age and she'll need a "kidney sparing" diet.

But she seems as sassy and playful as ever. Just not so agile.

I am so afraid she's going to hate the new food. But I am hoping for the best.

To read an excerpt, please click here.I have been very busy writing. I completed, subbed and was offered a contract on the sequel for Grey’s Lady, which is titled White Lace and Promises and the word length for those who care about such things, is around 45K. I also submitted a new story, with some of the same characters as White Lace and Promises but set in Philadelphia in 1793, it's 60K.
